“the shire,” commissioned for the interior of a home in Sacramento, 2020. This was my first time painting a full mural with purely brushes & acrylics. it was a fun challenge to get out of my comfort zone and not rely so heavily on spray paint. I’m pleased with the end result and excited to continue using different mediums on walls.

Darin is a self-taught artist. He has been creating aerosol murals with his signature cartoonish style, influence from his background in graffiti, and references to postmodernism for over a decade.

His fine art has two clear-cut dichotomies: one expresses a minimalistic and postmodern approach to creating abstract works and the other is much more illustrative, emphasizing his love for cartoons, pop culture & comics.​
