Darin is a self-taught artist. He has been creating aerosol murals with his signature cartoonish style, influence from his background in graffiti, and references to postmodernism for over a decade.
His fine art has two clear-cut dichotomies: one expresses a minimalistic and postmodern approach to creating abstract works and the other is much more illustrative, emphasizing his love for cartoons, pop culture & comics.
How do your pieces come to life? Tell us one interesting thing about your creative process?
"My creative process is best described as controlled chaos. I’m always looking at my surroundings for interesting shapes or aesthetically pleasing color palettes...I can’t turn it off. It’s a sickness."
