Further exploration of light and shade, celebrating the negative space created by shadow and the intrigue of what lies beneath.
Inspired by the unique patterns in modern architectural masonry, a striking overlay of vertical and horizontal lines that create a body of texture through pattern placement. Hand woven in natural organic merino wool and organic cotton.
A contemporary presentation of traditional weaving techniques that allow for a sculptured finish, an exploration of subtle textural changes, where the casting of light creates a gentle play of mood through shadow.
Finished in a bespoke floating natural oak frame.
Frame - 29cmW x 34cmH x 4cmD.

Backed in felt with artist tag.
