Frozen in time, a 360 degree view of Ann Arbor completed in 2000 covers two stories of this historic building. The artist painted the floor, ceiling and all walls and doors of this two story staircase so that the illusion is complete. The stonework in the lower level must be touched to convince oneself that it is not real. The building contains two more murals by Katherine Larson as well as this monumental work.

I seek to bring beauty and joy to the spaces I have been honored to fill with art.
