"I always am negotiating impact versus payoff. The first achievement is for something to capture your attention. The challenge lies in arresting your gaze, compel you to come closer and lastly, be glad you did."

What do you want people to do or feel when they encounter your creations?
"In these unprecedented times, I would like my studio work to inspire contemplation and I would like my mural work to inspire conversation. Murals can foster unity, instill pride of place, and challenge viewers to think critically about the visual culture they are submerged in. Our visual landscape informs our mindset and our actions. Public art is essential to the common good."
