My alarm went off at 5... dazed, I slowly pulled myself out of the cozy bed to slip on my sandals and creep out to the front door. By the time we reached the beach, I was starting to wake up. And so was the world around me. The sound of the gentle waves tried to lull me back to sleep, but the cry of the gulls, the diving pelicans, and dolphins surfacing held my attention while the sky gradually lightened and glistened off the expanse of water. Slowly the clouds moved into mesmerizing, peach-tinged shapes and I breathed in the salt and cool breeze and said thank you. This gorgeous fine art giclee print of my original painting “Worth It" is printed with archival ink on heavy, beautiful fine art paper. If properly cared for, it will last for generations.

Landscape artist bringing light and nature into your space

I'm an American painter born and raised in Virginia, and I recently spent 3 glorious years living in the English countryside with my husband and our two boys. Creating allows me to breathe and feel truly grounded more than anything else- it is a part of who I am.

During our time in the UK, I was endlessly inspired by the landscapes of that incredible island. I draw most of my inspiration from nature, especially from our travels in the UK and on the European mainland, but also from the beautiful scenes in my hometown on the East Coast. Mountains, water, woods, and big skies are where I feel most at home. I believe the beauty of nature should be brought inside our homes and workspaces- to breathe life, peace, and glory into our everyday lives.
