Like the classic pine air-freshener that hangs off of a rear-view mirror, these large plywood decals are a nod to some timeless additions to the world of automobiles. Named after my fantasy crew of lady roadies.

Acrylic on recycled, 1/8" thick plywood. Sizes vary, but are generally between 28-30" x 14-18."

In the business of visual metaphors, puns and whimsy.

Forever balancing the logic of pragmatism with the energy of romanticism, Rowan is a seeker of silver linings. Be it humor or hidden through-lines, uncanny truths or unforeseen opportunities, she is a fervent believer that there is always *something* to put the rest into perspective.

As such, her artwork is often anecdotal in nature and marked by a keen sense of observation. Her line work and color palettes tend to be crisp and decisive, offering a gratifying combination of technical illustration and commercial art.

Rowan Walton is an interdisciplinary artist and Slowwag Studio is her slab of cyberspace. She is currently studying Animation with the hopes of solidifying her practice into a career that is better suited for creative collaboration, storytelling, and public service.
