Beautiful blue abstract seascape / landscape painting. "Won't you take my hand and stand still?" is a question from me to you, the viewer... won't you come with me to this still place? Dedicated to standing on the shore looking out over the vast expanse of sea and sky. Standing still, still, still as the universe spins.

Made with a beautiful palette in indigo blue, alizarin crimson, gold, and bright white. The surface of this piece is highly textured.
This painting was made in my Italy Studio and transported to my Forest Studio in Florida for exhibition.

I am an intuitive contemporary painter with studios in Italy and the USA. I am a seeker of the light and capture it in all of my paintings.
My paintings are an ode to life, to becoming, and to majesty. They are a reminder to take a moment to release the trappings of the mundane, to look up, down, far, and close. To be still.
My work is the result of meditation, intuition, and sometimes a real or perceived memory. A walk in the rain. The sky at dusk. The sunrise. The lotus flowers on the lake. The flaming sun. Koi slow-dancing in the pond. The night sky over all of humanity... The ultimate mysteries of the universe.

My paintings are made to call you home.
Home to yourself, to your own space of light.
My work is beckoning, instantaneous, and sensual. My perspective is tactile and sensorial. I create spaces that are sometimes dreamlike and sometimes reminiscent of the natural world.
The reminder to stop and be exquisitely still.

I earned my BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
I was an awarded finalist at the Biennale di Genova, Italy in 2021.
My paintings have been exhibited throughout Europe and the United States, and are part of private collections in 14 countries around the world.
Several of my pieces were recently auctioned at the Orlando Museum of Fine Art.
I split my time between the majestic mountains of northern Italy and the high country in Colorado, and more recently a secluded lakeside cabin in the Ocala National Forest in Florida.
I battled aggressive breast cancer in 2024. And won. My recent body of work is inspired by the light at the end of the tunnel.
