This interior designer has found a perfect placement in showing how you can become an art collector without always having to match the couch. Using the work as a launching point instead of the other way around.
Acrylic paint on wood panel. Using an intuitive approach these paintings start as poured paint. I'll often do this in batched to have some sort of integrated palette between them. Using the nuances of the paint I find the image within, cover up some of the pour and using an artist eye to decide what to keep and what to cover, making each piece of work truly unique and expressive. Sizes in this series are are small from 6 x 6" and 10 x 10".
