Throughout my life, ceramics has been the expression of what touches my soul
My inclination for simplicity and minimalism in my work is a reflection of my travels throughout the world and especially the Far East. Raised in Mexico City, my first memory of ceramics is at the age of 7, when I discovered while attending an arts and crafts course at the Museo de Antrpologia, that was the beginning of my love for pottery.
My formal ceramics education began in Mexico City followed by coursework while I was living in Europe. In 1993, I enrolled at Parsons School of Design where my hobby became my passion and my passion a way of life. I am thankful for the guidance of Porcelain artist and friend Heidi Loewen, she inspired me as a professional artist.
I am grateful to have two very special children a wonderful husband and a passion to transform clay into beautiful art that fills my soul and my spirit.
