Textile collection exploring water qualities.

The profound relationship between water and humans may relate to our evolutionary history. Aquatic environment rebound the intimate contact we have with nature. Just what is it about water that could have remarkable effects on our health and well-being.
The textiles I developed were inspired by certain qualities of the water like transparency, refraction, mirroring and shine. Some were trying to explore the characteristic of foam and poetry of rain drops.

Application:
Being around water makes us calmer. Window screens filtrating the light give the subtle feeling of water in a space. The link between water and our mental state can be beneficial and comforting.
