Donald DiMauro designs and makes furniture with the skill and heart of an independent craftsman creating functional pieces of beauty, interest, and value.

For over 40 years woodworking has been my sole occupation. The renovated old barn that sits out back behind my home has served as my workshop for the last 25 years.

Throughout my career work has focused on custom designs made for private clients, projects for architects and interior designers and, most importantly, creating furniture as both designer and craftsman.

From the outset I have kept to the promise of my original intent to develop and evolve the best ideas and methods I have learned and devised to extend and clarify my personal vision of workmanship and design. I have studied and labored in the spirit of the early Arts & Crafts artisans, those committed craftsmen who strove to make thoughtful designs built to the best of their abilities to produce objects meant to appreciate, enjoy, and to last.

The work here displayed on this site represents the product of my efforts.
