The Vlastislav Hamsa is a cut brass hamsa charm inspired by the Cubist styled Heydukova Street Synagogue in Bratislava. In this orientation, this charm is traditionally used to attract good luck and positive energy.

The Vlastislav Hamsas are cut from brass, sanded and waxed and then have a wool tassel attached at the base. Each set is slightly different due to the organic nature of the finishing and may vary slightly from the set pictured. The charm is 13"x 4 1/2". Please allow a 3-4 week lead time if the product is out of stock.

Modern Judaica and Slavic Crafts

Studio Nikto is a small batch Judaica and home decor studio founded by designer Zac Banik in 2020. We are proudly located in Portland, Oregon. Our mission is to create timeless contemporary pieces by drawing from traditional Jewish and Slavic crafts and combining elements of these traditions with modern design styles. We hope you are inspired by our work to embrace traditional craft of all kinds and re-evaluate your relationship to the unique cultural expressions which make us all beautifully human.
