Verte 4.

Freedom. Gestural. Summer.
A summer breeze makes me imagine a white ribbon flying through the brambles, in a joyful dance.
The result is alive and light. It brings the constant delight of nature inside, and was inspired by our daily walks around the pond. I enjoy the light play and messiness of all the weeds and flowers, flourishing all on their own – Verte 4.

Wired, edge-painted and ready to hang.

Contemporary Art

Well, it is exciting to be on this platform!
A little about me. For almost 30 years I was a visual communicator, doing everything from magazine design and production, illustration to branding on Vancouver Island (a 15 minute float plane ride to Vancouver). About 10 years ago I began scheduling in time to paint. My clients got used to my new availability schedule and I poured myself into my art. For the last few years painting has filled my schedule. My works sell worldwide. In early September, I have a solo show in our nation's capital, Ottawa, Canada.
