“Misato Suzuki (b. 1975) currently lives and works in Southern California. Her delicate, abstract style integrates organic form and recognizable forms. She combines the use of unique mediums such as coffee and walnut ink onto her canvas, creating a unique conversation between colors and depths. Misato has exhibited nationally and internationally, throughout the United States, Europe, Australia, Canada and Japan. Most recently, her work has been exhibited in the US Consulate Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In 2013, Misato exhibited at The First 20 Years, Known Gallery, Los Angeles, CA. Misato received her BA form Central Washington University, Ellensburg, WA and her MFA from Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, CA.”
