Each of the 5 piece untitled series derive from the inspiration of the NorCal coast. A tension between chaos and order. Stephen Stocklin allows the emotional tug o war of fight or flight to portray simplistic abstract textures on the canvas. Allowing each piece to find its own voice and speak its own language into completion.
