Expressive and gestural, painted in acrylics and inks, metallics and archival european art spray. Created while the canvases are lying on the floor, I often move completely around the painting, casting my equine spell as I go. These paintings are not drawn ahead of time. I must see the image before I begin. This invokes and, I believe, engenders into the piece a sense of athleticism and intuitive movement that cannot be created any other way; my movement completes the piece. We are created together.
