Miduny's Two-Face Cutting Board does two things at once. On one side it’s a cutting board for food preparation and the carved corners act as ergonomic handles. Turn it, and it becomes a beautiful serving platter for your compositions–steak, dips, charcuterie, cheese.

Designed in Brooklyn and Made in Italy by Master Artisans. Each piece is built with materials from certified sources and ship flat in custom boxes. Our easy-peasy assembly takes minutes.

Miduny is an artisanal furniture studio in Brooklyn led by Italian-born architect Alessandro Preda.

Miduny's furniture combines timeless form and rigorous engineering with warm materials and whimsical accents. Our pieces merge the impeccable craftsmanship and beauty of traditional joinery, with the convenience and sustainability of flat pack. Most miduny designs are intentionally versatile, specifically conceived with a dual purpose.

We design and prototype all our products at our Brooklyn studio and collaborate with family-owned workshops in Northern Italy to produce small batches of beautiful objects. These Italian workshops invariably have two or three generations of master craftsmen under one roof, which allows our designs to combine advanced technologies with traditional details and finishes.
