This was carved from a Cherry tree that came down in a huge ice storm a couple Winters ago. While carving it, it became clear that I would have to devise some sort of support- something uniquely suited to the form. I created elegant curves to compliment the geometric faceting. Uplighting coming through side pockets casts triangular shapes onto the ceiling. There’s s switch on the black, cloth-covered cord. Completely unique, both lighting and sculpture, It adds soft, indirect lighting to a space.
