Story of this one-of-a-kind canvas painting: This original drip painting is created in my Tokyo Echoes style with which I begun my polytonal paintings. I started with this unique concept during my time in Japan, Tokyo, Yokohama and later continued my research in New York City, Boston and San Francisco.
A time full of miracles, wonders and magic. I travelled the world in search for my family and never planned to make new friendships, meet the kindest people. The frequent meditations outside Yokohama in the zen garden of my friends were so unforgettable. Calm, tranquil, a Garden of Eden. Extremely inspired I started a series of zen studies. These studies culminated in this extra large canvas painting, which I consider a key piece of my body of work. Following my path, trusting my intuition, the painting developed largely out of itself during a period of very intense alternating meditation and painting. Every single, fine drip and every brushstroke was placed in a very sensitive way caressing the canvas.

Like all my large abstracts the canvas is painted completely for your advantage and for extra high quality aesthetics. No white canvas edges. Perfect for an exciting extra large gallery wrap piece! Since many collectors have approached me in recent months and specifically are looking for oversized unstretched canvas art, which is completely painted in the entire width and height, I now also offer here this unique abstract, oversized piece. Many of my collectors love to place the unstretched canvas as it is on the wall of their loft without further preparation or re-stretching on a wooden stretcher frame.
If you want to have this abstract painting re-stretched, this is very easily done at your place of residence in a framers shop. Your advantage: With my art, the edges are completely painted and the work thus creates a particularly unique effect at the wall as one-of-a-kind large wall art. Especially when gallery wrapped.
