Sam Soper finished commission pet portrait of Tim Riggins and Lyla Garrity for her client in Austin, Texas. The final version of this 8″x10″ pet portrait took Sam around 12 hours to complete (+3-4 hours for the concept sketches and drafts). It was drawn using a mix of Copic markers, Micron fine liners, and Gelly Roll pens on Strathmore smooth bristol paper.

Her mission focuses on joy and representation, striving to make each piece an educational experience by highlighting real subjects and the ethereal beauty of the natural world. She has a 15+ year background in brand strategy, creative design, and user experience that she puts to use creating fun and engaging brand experience in the form of mural work and installations.

Additionally, in 2021, she founded Creative Cuties ATX, an intersectional group for creatives interested in building local community by encouraging self-expression, connecting with others across various disciplines, and celebrating all of our individual achievements.
