Triskelion or Triskele Celtic Spiral Knot Wall Hanging
Handmade pottery design of earthenware clay with beautiful glaze.
The Triskele, or the Triple Spiral Knot is an ancient Celtic symbol, widely believed as one of the oldest symbols on earth.
The Triskelion has three clockwise spirals connecting from the center. Also known as the triple spiral, the Triskelion has rotational symmetry and is very common in Celtic art and architecture, believed to represent the sun or ethereal radiation energy.
The Celtic Triskelion is also seen as a symbol of strength and progress. As it appears to be moving, the Triskelion also represents the will to move forward and overcome adversity.
