The Supper - Paintings

Featured In Rest, Sentrum, Norway

Starts at $5,000

Creation: 10-30 weeks

This art work is created for one of Oslo's most exciting restaurant projects. The concept was to meet the customer's desire for a visual story that is about making gourmet dishes from leftovers. Ie. ingredients that are otherwise dumped.
The idea we came up with was a work of art based on the biblical motif "The last supper" and Zurbaran's painting St. Hugh of Cluny in the Refectory of the Carthusians. The painting is a portrait gallery of the restaurant staff where all are hybrids between humans and different animals.
