Elevated playfulness for the young at heart

Hi I’m Anita, but you can call me Neets. I am a mixed media artist/ illustrator and I create artwork that is playful and warm- for the young and young at heart.

A lot of my artwork uses hand cut washi paper; and, as a result, my process is a thoughtful homage to the inner child, imperfection, and slow living.

Just like when chefs make a gourmet meal from farm to table ingredients, I recognize that the paper I use was handmade, its fibers grown on a farm cultivated by the hands of many workers. It took a lot for it to get here in my hands and it’s an honour to shape it into artwork.

I release one to two thoughtfully designed collections a year. At the heart of each collection is a deep curiosity. Whether it's a concept I want to explore, or a topic about which I would like to learn; each original piece is a love letter to wonder.
