This sculpture is located on the ground of Chung Hwa High School in Muar, Malaysia.
This work is part of the series "Rhino Migration" and is the only one that represents a Sumatran rhino. It was done with the help of the students of the school, some of them assisted me for the fabrication and most of them wrote a message on a stone they placed inside of the beast. This work was done in 2012, it is the smallest one of this series.

Roger Gaudreau was born in Rimouski, Québec, in 1956. He lives and works in Shawinigan, Quebec, Canada. He received his bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Québec in Trois-Rivières (1981). He received his Master of fine arts from the University of Québec in Montréal (1996). He has been teaching sculpture as lecturer professor in Trois-Rivières, Chicoutimi, Montréal and Halifax since 1984.
He has completed over thirty public art projects in Canada, Taiwan, Australia, Finland and Malaysia. He has numerous solo and group exhibitions in Quebec.
