I wanted to show these beautiful birds that can only see in the southeast of Mexico.
The toh bird or motmot bird represents a change of state, a maturation of energy, evolution, a journey of no return towards what destiny has in store for us since we are born. The motmot lives in the caves, where Mayan shamans perform initiation rites for young people who begin their own lives.
Why Frida?
Because of her unique personality and her multifaceted life, she has become a standard leader for women's inner strength, her love of Mexico and its culture, and courage in the face of adversity. Above all, she was a genuine woman who was true to her convictions.
The gold leaf symbolizes happiness, prosperity, and a broader sense of the perfect being that we all are.
