The Black Square is a side table with an award-winning design by Rita Kettaneh. It has a geometric identity that influences its entire shape and silhouette.
The black and white colors were introduced as a way of responding to the year 2020's events and its modified way of life. We have felt a calling for more simplicity, and a return to the purity of living. Moreover, it is a call for healing for humanity as a whole, and for Lebanese in particular. There is beauty in strength and in hope, in black and in white.
The "Black and White Edition" is a sequel to the primary collection "The Crystal Tables" that was granted the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award and was featured in Elle Decor, Designboom, Interior Design, and Design Middle East.
Materials and Production:
The base is made up of steel painted in pearlescent black with a glossy finish and the top is in acrylic.
The Crystal Tables are produced in Lebanon by combining top notch industrial methods with authentic craftsmanship. The result is high quality products that capture the delicateness of the human touch.
