I was inspired to paint this piece after an early morning walk with my husband on Thanksgiving day leaving from our cottage to walk through the woods and out to the open fields nearby before all the festivities began. These sweeping clouds stopped me in my tracks. I deliberately painted this scene a bit looser, as I wanted it to have that slightly fuzzy, warm feeling of sweet memories of good holidays spent with family. This painting will bring warmth and light wherever it resides!
