This is a tapestry made from vintage watch dials, other watch parts, glass beads and wire. I spend hours disassembling mechanical watches for my art. Currently this piece is unframed, but can be put in a floating frame under museum-quality acrylic (contact me).

Price does not include a frame. I can have the piece framed: wood floating frame under museum-grade acrylic. There is a photo in the gallery showing a mocked-up frame. The frame will cost an extra $400 above the specified price (including shipping). The photo gallery shows a mocked-up frame. If you want framing, please contact me to discuss frame and background color.

"As a collage and mixed media artist, I create detailed and meticulously constructed artwork from photographs, books, fabric and found objects. I collect things that intrigue me and often keep them for several years before deciding how to best incorporate them into my art.

I would like for viewers to be able to stand at a distance from my artwork and see a beautiful and fascinating composition, which will in turn draw them in for a closer look to reveal the surprise of the composite parts. I use the source materials to convey my cultural heritage and deep sense of history. My artwork is wholly contemporary and global, while at the same time honoring the ethnic and traditional, paying homage to those who came before."
