Caroline painted four large scale panels on wood panels for a new restaurant focusing on freeform tacos and cocktails. The restaurant was still in construction while painting was in progress.

The mural panels total 47' wide and 9' high. Caroline executed their graphic team's conceptual designs inspired by their branding.

Caroline scaled the graphics to the size of the walls and had them printed to utilize the transfer method of the half circle and partial horizontal lines transferred the line work to the walls. The linear lines were painted by taping and sealing.

The corridor was to narrow in width to use the short throw projector. Caroline measured and with her assistant taped / sealed the continuation of lines to achieve the final crisp lines.

Because of the different colors for each section, the panels were drawn, taped, sealed, painted in phases between layers and drying time.

All murals are site specific. Please inquire regarding your upcoming project.

"Caroline is a true professional and did a fantastic job painting four extra large murals inside of our new restaurant space. The murals are true statement pieces, and it was Caroline's love of color and fine attention to detail that made them come alive. They give such great energy to the space - we simply love her work and the dedication she gave to our job. I would highly recommend her."

Color, nature, architecture, topography amalgamation

I am a Belgian born multi-disciplinary designer and artist residing in the Arts District, Los Angeles.

I focus on the exploration of color, topography, geometry, nature, and architectural amalgamation. I am constantly creating multiple pieces in various media simultaneously, fueling the velocity to my creativity as I sway between the commercial and fine art worlds.

Besides taking a few art classes in high school and college electives, I am a self-taught artist and received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing and Real Estate from Florida Atlantic University. After a twelve year career in marketing for architecture and real estate firms, I ventured off to start my own company in 2017, Caroline Geys Design Studio, as a fine artist and freelance designer, and the many shades of the spectrum in between. Both careers have provided me with a wonderful range of opportunities and collaborations with various types of brands, small business clients and collectors, and large organizations in both the public and private sectors.

Since living in Los Angeles, I have created several public works of permanent and temporary art installations, and exhibited in galleries.

Recent project highlights include; Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Reebok, Dunn-Edwards Paints, Benjamin Moore Paints in association with Wescover and American Society of Interior Designers, Los Angeles Design Festival, ROW DTLA, City of Los Angeles, Arts District Brewing Company, MASAYA Boutique, Folklore Salon & Barber, Unita Club, Coachella in association with TRASHed, Standard Hotel - Hollywood, Beautify Earth, and StandardVision.
