Calice - Vessels & Containers

Unavailable

This elegant bottle hides, in its multiple grooves, a beautiful wine glass, sublimating the agreed bottle way of use.

Its exterior facets evoke the Gothic arches of cathedrals and recall the cut glasses of famous French glassworks. Subtle mix between medieval inspirations and a modern minimalist use.

" Whether at an improvised picnic on the river bank or with friends who move in, this practical and distinguished drink can easily be invited anywhere, at anytime ! ”

Calice is made on three parts : the bottle body, the glass cap, and a discreet transparent silicone ring, inserted in the bottom of the glass. Thus, it avoids strong contact of the two glass parts, while offering an easy closure and a perfect sealing. In addition, a facets reserve, overlapping the two containers, secures the case thanks to a repositionable sticker : transport can be done safely and the label provides content information.

Glass, silicone.
Dimensions : 310 x 76 x 76 mm.

I think my designer's mission is to make people dream ; to bring them into a mood, a culture, an unknown territory, by the object. It could be summed up in one sentence : Show me how the world can be beautiful !

Independant designer based in Paris, Dorian Étienne combines in his work crafts and industry through a humanist and eco-friendly design approach.

Anchored in near or distant territories, he observes cultures and histories, techniques and materials. The richness of the world's cultural heritages inspires him throughout his work. Following this lead thread, braided of Human and Nature, he creates sensible and sensitive products : “objets métissés”.

Furthermore, experimentation is at the heart of his creation. The new features of the material are his library of ideas ; then he invents new uses.

Fundamentally his approach is respectful of the environment and humans.
