Svarun is a chair and sculpture carved from a single piece of wood. It is the first chair made by the artist. Svarun represents the Slavic deity responsible for the creation of the world. It is the source and inspiration that led to a new elegance, compactness, firmness and form. The backrest is stylistically shaped to form the letter A, signifying the beginning of everything. The seat forms an elongated circle and the texture of the ring echoes the pattern, from the darker centre to the lighter outer layers. Resonating with simplicity, wholeness and self-sufficiency, it lacks armrests, which in this case would be superfluous. Functional sculpture carved from a single piece of wood. Each piece is carved by artists using wood carving tools. Each product is made as unique as possible, with a dedication to every single detail. Logniture makes original pieces, without reproductions, with the aim of decorating homes with unique masterpieces.
