The bright colors and interesting shapes nature offers us are something I always try to capture. It is a great way to keep the seasons with us all year round. This painting of large red poppies taking center stage is great in any room.

Abstract and Botanical Art

PAINTING IS MY "JOIE DE VIVRE"

I am a lover of nature, constantly inspired by what I see. Whether with my floral compositions, landscapes, or abstracts, I transpose my perceptions of the beautiful colors, shapes, and movements that nature shares with us onto the canvas extending beyond the mere visual interpretation.

I work with a variety of different media such as acrylic, pastel, collage, and oil. I spent over 35 years in Manhattan and moved back to my birth country of Switzerland 10 years ago. My works are in a variety of museums, private and public art collections, storefronts like Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, and have shown in many galleries in Europe and the US.
