Part of our inaugural silk and wool collection debuting at ICFF in 2003, Spray has become our most recognized design. Based on the graphic representations of the Cherry Blossom that resonates throughout Asian culture, Gardner gives the Japanese kimono motif scale and allows it to shine in a monochrome field of wool. Conjuring Pop-Art, Art Deco and Classic textile all in one, it is easy to understand the staying power of this remarkable and remarkably versatile design.

Award-winning designer Emma Gardner, principal at Emma Gardner Design, has been creating striking and vibrant rugs for consumers, interior designers and architects since 2002. After a successful career as an editor and illustrator, she has applied her celebrated sense of color and composition to creating original rugs that are available through showrooms in throughout North American and in Dubai and direct to interior designers.
Having appeared in leading design and fashion magazines like Elle Décor, House Beautiful, Interior Design, Better Homes & Gardens, Traditional Home, Elle, Glamour, Dwell, Luxe Magazine, House Beautiful & Cover and received Interior Design magazine’s Best of Year, IIDEX/Neocon Innovation and Neocon Gold Awards, her work adorns some of the best hotels and finest homes in the world as well as premier healthcare facilities, including the Mayo Clinic.

Emma specializes in working collaboratively with designers, architects and clients, dedicating herself to the process and bringing all her energy and creativity to everyone.
