The Split table showcases a sleek and contemporary design, infused with a subtle sculptural twist. The objective was to craft a modern table that challenges conventional leg placement while employing minimal materials to achieve maximum structural integrity. Taking inspiration from mammalian anatomy, the table features two pairs of sculptural legs connected by a spine, with ribs providing support and connecting to the tabletop. These components intricately interlock into the spine using half lap joints, enhancing stability and increasing the adhesive surface area. The chamfered long side of the tabletop adds a touch of modernity and lightness, refining the overall appearance of the table. Opt for the Split table to make a bold statement in any contemporary living space.
