Ramón Bonilla is a Denver based artist recently featured on 5280’s Home magazine as one of the “The Five Local Artists To Watch And Collect”. His mural work has been commissioned for The Gates Building, Nexus BSP in Denver, CO as well as Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, CO. From 2015 to 2017 Bonilla completed an art residency at Redline Denver. He was part of two resident art shows, "Monumental" (2016) and "Nice Work If You Can Get It" (2017). While at Redline he also curated "(R)evolver" (2016) for Redline's Reach Program and also "Downshifting" (2017), an international collective of reductive art, shown at Redline Denver and supported in part by the Danish Consulate in Denver. During his time at Redline, Bonilla was featured on Westword 100 Colorado Creatives. He was also invited to join the international art group Direction/Instruction organized by Hyland Mather and showed his work at Paradigm Gallery in Philadelphia. Bonilla participated of Denver Architectural Foundation "Doors Open Denver" and Westword “Artopia” presenting pop up murals made out of rice paper tape. Before the end of his residency, Bonilla presented a collection of his paintings titled “Build To Suit” at Michael Warren Contemporary in Denver.

In 2018 Bonilla presented his installation work at The Foothills Art Center in Golden, CO and presented another installation titled “Illuminati DIA” at the Denver Theater District as part the Understudy experimental space. He also participated of a mural show at the Arvada Art Center for The Arts And Humanities as part of the exhibition “In Sight On-Site” and participated with another mural and paintings of the show “Puerto Rico: Defying Darkness” at 516 Arts in Albuquerque, NM.
