My son doesn't know what gender-neutral is. He loves cars and dinosaurs and BIG TRUCKS. Maybe it's biology. Maybe he just takes after my father or my husband. Regardless, I cannot help but indulge him. This wall covering is his favorite. Big diesel motors. Red pickups. Concrete. Men doing men's work, as little boys look on before becoming men themselves, having stolen our hearts long before growing up.

Assembly & Installation Instructions (Youtube Instructional Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcYu9pbgCjc&t=6s)

Part I: Fixture Assembly:
1. Connect the wires to the socket by feeding them through the connector holes in back of the socket
- the black wire connects to the hot contact (brass colored)
- the white wire connect to the neutral contact (silver colored)
(use a continuity checker to verify the wires are connected to the right pathway)
2. Feed the socket cover through the other end of the wire and connect it to the socket
3. Screw the 1” metal nipple into the socket
4. Run the wire through the drum shade spider ring
5. Next the flush mount goes through the wire. Rest it dish side up on the spider ring
6. Run the star-lock washer through the wire until it sits on the flush mount
7. Secure the socket and the flush mount to the drum shade with the 1/2” nut. Tighten it using your wrench or pliers. It should not be loose.
8. Cut the wire to length. Leave at least 6”

Part II House Install:
9. Secure the bracket to the ceiling can-light using the
two 8/32“ screws
10. Connect the fixture to the house wiring
- the black wire connects to the hot contact
- the white wire connect to the neutral contact
- resecure with the wire nut and electrical tape
(use a continuity checker to verify the wires are connected to the right pathway)
11. Secure the flush mount to the bracket on either side using the two 6/32” screws
12. Screw in the light bulb
13. Peel both sides of the diffuser bottom protection layer off.
14. Feed the diffuser bottom through the drum shade and rest it on the bottom ring. Adjust as needed using the suction cups to pull the diffuser down.
15. Turn on the circuit and ENJOY!

I let life inspire my pattern designs. From there it could end up as a wallcovering or any home decor item!

I think of myself as an artist and then a product designer. Like artists of centuries past I find inspiration in the world around me. From global treks to local fresh cut bouquets, nature and architecture fuel my passion for design. My parents recognized my artistic interest early and encouraged this in me. I studied art and design in Europe. Once back stateside, I worked as a textile designer in the NYC home fashion industry before relocating to Minnesota with my husband. Minnesota has welcomed us and truly inspired my work. It was here I knew I could start the print studio and launch my line. I am motivated by not just the community of artists I have found but the Twin Cities and state itself. Nature abounds from Three River Parks to the miles of lakes and biking paths.
