Fine artist who combines bold gestures with geometric abstraction.
In both her paintings and prints, Stacie works responsively by creating relationships between form and color, accumulating layers, deconstructing, and revising until it is resolved. She often applies screen printing techniques to her paintings, using the screens as painting tools to achieve patterns that echo throughout the work. The abstractions recall otherworldly landscapes and architectural references that address our relationship to the environment, objects, materials, and images that surround us.
She has shown regionally in Atlanta at Poem88, Swan Coach House Gallery, The Zuckerman Museum, Barbara Archer Gallery, Mason Fine Art, The Kibbee Gallery, and The Rymer Gallery in Nashville. Her work is included in numerous corporate and private collections around the country. Stacie earned a BFA from Pratt Institute in New York and is a fellow of The Hambidge Center for Creative Arts & Science. She is currently represented by Poem88 in Atlanta.
