The Fringes series is based on the use of jute burlap fabric and the different possibilities it offers in the multiple frays. This action results in falls, fringes, loose threads that transform the structure of the fabric into more compressed parts and others absent.
It is a reverse creation process. It is to manually undo thread by thread the manufactured fabric.
This monochrome and minimalist work evokes elegance, sophistication and seduction and invites the viewer to generate their own emotion.
