Both the infinitely small unseen world of atoms and molecules and the infinitely large movement of planets and universes are at play creating fields of energy and vibration. All of these things feel as if they are woven together, interrelated , interconnected - like bridges from one side of the river to the next.
The material matters to me. It becomes an inherent dynamic part of each work, altering the meaning and overall experience. The textile, soft sculptures of late are connecting to the body, commenting on our threads of weblike connection, creating a physical tactile space and object that touches a memory-something familiar yet unfamiliar.
