Sacramento Office of Arts + Culture - Sacramento, California
Painted in acrylic and spray paints on an impressive 2,800 square foot wall, this mural is Shane’s largest to date, and took a total of six days to complete. He was commissioned by the Sacramento Office of Arts + Culture to work collaboratively with both Natomas Unified School District and Jibe, a nonprofit organization that encourages North Natomans to use alternative means of transportation. Both organizations were thrilled with Shane’s design that reflected Jibe’s mission statement conveyed through a sense of childlike wonder, an image of inspired youths engaged in imaginative expressions of hopeful expectation for a bright and diverse future, and many adventures that await beyond the horizon.
