When sourcing rustic wood, I occasionally come across special pieces that I end up keeping for myself. The headboard was one of those. It is a wide plank of rustic oak with a natural void that was perfect to fill with a mosaic of natural found objects. Epoxy resin was used to forever preserve these treasures collected from various family vacations. The floating nightstands were made from several cut off pieces that I never seam to be able to part with. It's nice to be able to build and keep something for us to enjoy.

For these epoxy projects – the uniqueness of the wood slab along with the placement and color of the epoxy makes each piece one of a kind. The overall design will match the sample piece shown, but the individual wood selection and epoxy inlay details must be determined. I will send you wood slab choices along with epoxy placement and color options. You can determine the level of involvement in this process. To help you with these customizations, I always provide a rendering that shows all the project details along with an illustration of what the final product will look like.
