Indonesian for rice-field
Inspired by the rice-fields prevalent throughout Asia. Rice is the base for every meal and the number one crop to be cultivated. Revered as sacred and holy in many countries especially in the Indonesian archipelago.
the rice-field is built in different layers called paddy’s filled with water. Natural shapes follow the land, creating a flow of lines and fields.
When zooming in on the layers that built up a rice paddy we see different structures that are translated to the carpet.
The carpet is available in 3 colour combinations. Made to measure for custom sizes and shapes. All carpets have varying pile heights (12-16mm) and are made from Bamboo, Mohair & Eucalyptus yarn. The different materials ensures the shine and structure varies where it needs to be making the carpet come ‘‘alive’’
