Crystal Art Mythical Dragon (Limited Edition) by LIULI Crystal Art in a Limited Edition of 298 globally.
One of the 298 Crystal Azure Dragon from LIULI has been allocated to us. Standing almost 18" tall, this magnificent artwork with delicately created claws and scales, is quite simply the pinnacle of glass-making. This dragon took over a month to create.
Only 1 allocated to the US.
Design Concept:
As one of the five classic mythical creatures that guard each of the cardinal directions in Chinese astrology, the dragon is arguably the most commonly represented in popular culture. This piece is the azure dragon (or qinglong) and comes from LIULI's 2018 collection “Directional Clarity.” It represents the East and has also been named Meng Zhang in folklore. Here the dragon is sculpted in a confident and graceful pose, carved into a celestial orb that is representative of the heavens and carrying etchings of ancient astrological maps. When associated with the five principles system of Chinese Feng Shui, the dragon can represent the element of wood—or, similarly, the season of spring. As one of the five divine guardians, the azure dragon possesses a lively and energetic spirit, embodying the qualities of strength, virtue, and benevolence.
Weight: 46.3 lbs
Color: Sapphire Blue / Blue
Size: 13.19"L x 7.48"D x 17.83"H inches
