Painted during Covid. When I worked on this piece I felt better days are right Within Reach. This painting can be hung either way. There is tangible, recognizable connective tissue that connects my work. From the vastness of the cosmos to the intricate branching patterns within each of our life-giving cells, I am drawn to the primordial spirals and organic structures and flow of nature.
"My artistic process is an organic layering of pigments, fluids & shapes interacting dynamically. I watch & tend the canvas as my creations develop. The process takes days… sometimes months with many layers. It’s all very intuitive and I never know exactly what will happen. I let the shapes that emerge drive my brushes as I finish each piece.
