These beautiful handmade console tables are made using the ‘Lichtenberg Figure’ technique. We (safely) pass over 2000 volts of electricity through the table which creates dynamic patterns akin to a lightening strike.
After the table has been electrocuted we inset the resulting pattern with resin in your choice of colour which you can select to compliment your decor or to make a bold impact in your home!
When 2000 volts is involved we try not to get in its way, and so each pattern is completely unique, making each piece one of a kind due to the nature of electricity.
Just choose the length of table you would like along with the resin colour and prepare for your guests to be impressed.
We operate a small, family run, workshop in the countryside. We love what we do and with years of carpentry experience we feel like we are pretty good at it! All of our wooden pieces are handmade by us in our workshop to order.
We believe wood should not go to waste and that is why the majority of wood we use comes from our friends over at local saw mills who source trees which were felled during projects such as HS2 and which, without their intervention, would have been burned without being given a second chance to be something amazing. Instead, the wood is saved, sawn, dried (seasoned), and then we take it to our workshop and make it into something beautiful!

We know that every piece of wood is unique, so expect slight imperfections and knots that add character and individuality to each item. Embrace the nature beauty of wood and electricity, no two pieces are alike.
You should be aware that heat can have an impact on wood, so if placing over a radiator please be aware there could be slight movement. Do not place hot items on the table to keep your table looking its best.
If you don’t let us know what colour of resin you would like we will send you a random colour.
Our tables come without the legs attached. We will pre drill pilot holes for you, but you will need a screwdriver to attach the legs.
While this table is designed to be freestanding, not all floors are even so we would suggest securing it to a wall if you can. We supply a bracket to do this.
