As women we are often called to pull out all that we have to give. At times we surprise ourselves, and give more than even we know we had. That is our inner strength, our core, the foundation of our being. As part of my Warrior Women series, I give homage to the woman who knows how to tap into that Inner Strength, and uses it to pursue her dreams. Often, our dreams take more than we expect to achieve and when we do, we are fulfilled with joy. This piece was influenced by the movie Black Panthers and the pride those warriors showed in protecting their king and nation. It is made of cotton fabric and is machine appliquéd and quilted.
