Mimi Logothetis is a ceramic artist living and working in Cedar Grove, NC. Raised in NJ, she moved to DC, discovered clay and received her BFA at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA. Her work is exclusively porcelain, high fired in a gas kiln, decorated with her proprietary image transfer technique. The work is functional, sculptural or both, focusing on surface imagery, story telling, playing with translucency, light and dark. She works on commission and with special collaborations. Mimi's work can be seen in various galleries nationwide, The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, The Ogden Museum in New Orleans, Greenhill in Greensboro, NC, Panciuto Restaurant in Hillsborough, NC, The Durham Hotel, and at Skram Furniture Company.
