The inspiration for this quilt came during a time of sorrow for my dear friends many miscarriages. It made me think of seasons. How we all go through seasons of "winter" where circumstances are bleak and sorrow abounds. The "rain" is needed for the joy of spring. Our loss softens with time.
This quilt is divided into 4 quadrants that represent the seasons. Small wedges are cut to make a circular pattern. The top quilting highlights the cycles of life, helps remind us that time passes and we can press on knowing a new season is about to come. God has given us a hope for the future.
