I create abstract art for several reasons, abstract art is different, it makes you use your brain, the art can tell a story and it brings strong emotions and feelings. Abstract has more meanings and can touch your heart.

Reade loves art and it shows. His early days showed a passion for utilizing his vivid imagination to create art from within and finds the most unique method of conveying his complex world through abstract expressionism with powerful palate knife strokes of several colors at a time giving his work depth and movement. He does not consider art as work but as fun, play which makes it easy to paint daily. Each day he tries to explore with various mediums available to acrylic paints that help create work that can appear almost three dimensional. He loves to get art into homes and businesses where it belongs.

Reade was born in Los Angeles, California but studied and graduated from the University of Utah in Accounting although Reade enrolled in art and photography classes. He called Utah home for many years and has spent about five years as an artist and curator for Gallery 25 in Ogden, Utah. During those years in the gallery his art sold to many private collectors from 29 states and 11 foreign countries and out of 55 artists his art was the top selling art in 2019. He also maintains a permanent home in Indio, california, 19 miles east of Palm Springs where he embarked on his new career of painting professionally full time in March 2015. He chooses to paint abstract because he can bring strong emotions with color, texture and his creative titles which brings the viewer into his art emotionally. He finds his most creative time for painting is between 11p and 3a where he is in solitude without daily distractions. His joy comes from bringing smiles to those he sells art to.
